Me and the nursery

Ultrasound

Gracie loves to keep her hands in front of her face. She moved her little arm enough today to show us her face. She is going to be a snuggler for sure. She is wedged up in my uterine wall with her face on the placenta. We had to work a lot today to get her to scoot back a little to get a clearer image of her face. It was amazing to see her face and to see her moving around. The other hand that was not by her face was playing with her toes...she kept yawning and we got to see her moving her tongue all around. We also saw her heart beating and could see her breathing. We cannot wait to meet her. The nursery is just about ready as well. Will post pics soon.

Our Precious Gracie

After 2 tries we finally got a sneak peak of our sweet little one. All her fingers and toes and her beautiful face. We are so in love with her and can't wait to meet her in just about 2 months.

Overdue Update

So I have officially made it over half way. I'm 24 weeks today and only 16 more to go. Hopefully not 17, the good news is though the doctor does not usually let her patients go past 41 weeks. Had a check-up this week and everything was great. Gracie's heart rate was 161 and she is measuring right on schedule. I got a flu shot too so that I won't have to worry about that later. After last year I never want the flu again.

Working isn't the easiest since I am tired pretty much all the time but I am enjoying my job. So much better than last year. I teach from my roll-y chair a lot so that I do not have to stand on my feet all of the time. I did finally find some comfy shoes to wear though so I am hoping that will help. The majority of my shoes do not fit since my foot grew a whole size already.

In other news, Kev and I close on our 1st home next Friday and move in on Saturday. We are beyond excited. The house is looking great. I can't wait to get in and set it all up. Very excited about the nursery too. Kev says it is like I am building my little nest. That's what pregnant people do right? Nest? The apartment is getting a little crazy with all the boxes that are packed and piled up all around in every empty space we can find. Still have a long way to go with packing but plan to finish the majority of it this weekend. I can't believe that we will be in our brand new home in only 7 days. Wahoo!!!!

Hopefully I will be putting some pics up of the house soon. Here is a pic of me today at 24 weeks.
